“Don’t get mad, get ahead.”
I heard these words from a 7′ 4″ gentleman who, from my vantage point, has made all the right moves, but still got betrayed. Rather than direct his emotions to hate and revenge, he chose to refocus that energy and drive towards a more fulfilling goal. One that seems to be paying off monetarily and psychologically.
They are good words to keep your head in check, and remind yourself what is important. So don’t dwell on the past, use your experiences to guide your decisions in the future. I know this has been said many times in the past, but it doesn’t hurt to repeat them every so often. So I do…
